Summer dresses and trousers, shorts and vests!
And needed reassurance with the swatches for a few more fall jumpsuits!
…. just needing to “feel” those few extra undecided fabric needs, which could be, and responses to hand or machine washed …. Thank you mood!

Ok—I fell in love with the color and the possibility it presented—and the price point. It was just expensive enough for me to feel like it wasn't super cheap and might be okay for apparel. And then it arrived—if I'd been able to feel it before buying, I would have easily passed on it. I have a custom-drafted legging pattern that I know fits me perfectly that has a cool moto hack—but I didn't want to invest the time in this sketchy fabric. It feels super plasticicky. And then I thought of all the things this red would go with and decided to go for it. I had more doubts as I sewed it up. It sews like a kid' s party balloon and sticks to the sewing foot (this would be a great time for a Teflon foot if you've got it, I don't) and forget pressing it—it's plastic!! But with persistence, the leggings came together—and WORTH THE EFFORT!!! This fabric stretches and holds its shape and looks awesome on (I was afraid I'd look stuffed in a balloon!). I've worn these twice and people are amazed I made them. So don't be like me, get you some of this and make something kick-ass!
I'm very glad I ordered a sample cutting. I was hoping to use it for a child's skirt. The colors and pattern were as pictured and the pattern is fun and playful. Unfortunately, the fabric is too lightweight for my project…
Arrived timely, fabric was well packaged and extremely beautiful. Quasi-sheer fabric, so I doubled it in order to make it opaque enough to conceal the inside of my Bible.
Totally moved on a whim, with a simple idea in mind, and absolutely no experience nor a strategy to ensure that I wouldn't completely undermine what had already been done so far.
This has truly been a restorative project that I got to do with my True Friend. This Bible was given to my husband as an early teenager and he rarely used it. I was led to study from it just a few years ago, when I began to really “eat the strong meat” of the Word.
When I got ahold of it, only a few years pass and chunks of pages began to slip out. I'd glue them back in but then more would slip out with all the usage. It made me so sad because I didn't want to get a new Bible. B this point, I didn't feel I really needed a new one... they're so expensive anyway and all my notes and things were well journaled in this one.
So I prayed and cried out to my Heavenly Father, as the pages kept falling out. The Bible was literally falling apart. Chunks of pages tore away from the spine, and I did not get why. So I tore off the old bible cover to inspect it. Found it was perfect bound bible — which isn't v popular much these days, unless you got a basic cheap but decent bible. It's just not ideal for any sort of longevity, due to the weight of the Book — pages are glued not sewn. So the fabric here is sewn at the edge w an invisible method and not adhered to the interior portion of the cover so that the texture and feel of it may move freely as I open, carry or close my Bible.
So, this prayerful project has truly been a journey for me, where I've given much wisdom from above. All of which has led me, like a lil child, thru every stage and new addition to the restoration. I'm pretty impressed, with this being my v first time even using such a lovely yet understated fabric for the purpose of edifying and beautifying the inner cover of my full-grain European hide, gently buffed, velvety, suede-like nap, nubuck leather journal wrap-around cover. Abba Father tailored it to me, it's unique, personalized, feminine but not overt. I love how the monochromatic color tones of grey, taupe, nickel and pastelish lilac-pink all play off one another. It's cool, and been a lot of fun to learn about binding and using various textiles/materials. And this step of concealing the leather, was essential because my Bible often lies open, so the inside of the leather was seen and imho it wasn't v easy on the eyes, at all... w the chiffon fabric, it's a nice, perfect accent color that makes it v pleasant to look at during my studies or just in general.
I bought a small amount to make a color block part of a blouse. I was pleasantly surprised. It behaves like a standard jersey yet it has a lot more body than I expected. Their photo shows a “slubby” side but the reverse is smoother. I m fearful however that with repeated washings it's going to pill. But as mid-weight jerseys go, this is really nice.
I was cutting this with a rotary cutter with a blade that I didn't know needed to be replaced and it ended up tugging at some of the pile, creating a ripple that can't be undone. BE CAREFUL when cutting this fabric! I cut 2 pattern pieces that got this pulled string ripple effect and are now no good—I'm worried I have to reorder more. Fussy to work with, I probably should have gone with velour :'(
I bought this in NY, took home to Australia and my designer Edmund Jago made this 2 piece ….. Simply stunning with the Mood logo sewn into the hem. Love it :heart:Ô∏è:heart:Ô∏è
Purchased to finish off a handkerchief to gift at a bridal shower….it was the final touch that elevated and combined the chic and modern monogrammed piece to timeless elegance! So pleased:u1F979:
I haven't made anything yet or even figured out what I'm going to make — but I bought this because it looked pretty. And wow - it's even more beautiful in person. The colors are vibrant and the design is enchanting. I'm thinking this will probably end up as a wrap skirt or a scarf
I was not happy with the color. It is described as “natural,” but it's a very yellowy color that doesn't match anything natural that I was hoping to use it with.
i can't read and thought i was ordering 3 Yards but instead it's 3 panels which is a whole Half a yard less than 3 yards. so I need 3 yards for my project and received 2.5 because a panel is only 30″. Not moods fault. Fabric is gorgeous. but please put PANEL in the title or something obvious. or maybe I could just read. LOL.
I made McCalls 4553, the out of print gown/caftan pattern with this fabric, the long length, short sleeve version. I put a beaded appliqué around the V neck. It is exquisite, my students loved it. Some items of note: this fabric is Jean weight with stretch in both axis, it unravels more easily than some other more tightly woven cottons, so overcasting the raw edges is very much recommended. Zigzag the raw edges and wash the fabric before cutting. This is a one way design so take that into consideration when ordering yardage and placing the pattern for cutting out. I wish I could post the picture of it made up.
So the vinyl looks pretty great, but shipping internationally costs a fortune unfortunately.
Plus the label says that ”it may cause cancer“ but it doesn't explain further: like what exactly it is made of.
The color is exactly what I wanted so that's a plus.
Love the color and the ‘no-pill' nature of the fleece. It sews beautifully. There is a little more stretch in the crosswise grain, which makes it stable for lots of garments, like the dog coat. it sews beautifully and is a great contrast to the wool plaid.
Beautiful fabric…nice and crisp hand! I used it to demonstrate the creation of Foundation patterns on the dress form. Perfect for draping because students can see the grainlines easily because of the gingham checked pattern.

The weight and color are perfect for lining the bouclé that I purchased (also from Mood). After the holidays, diving into these beautiful fabrics!
