Good quality fabric. Will use Mood again. Project not complete, but hoping the Mood purchase will solve my issue on a fuchsia, alligator texture pleater jacket in process (for daughter, not me, as she wanted this pink pleather bomber jacket). Jacket turned out to be was too stiff once I put in the raglan sleeves, as there was zero softness in the wearability. It was my first time working ever with this type of fabric, after sewing for 40 years. I purchased the contrasting fuchsia wool to replace the sleeves (and make the lapel wool as well, so the design might make sense). I could not get same hue of fabric as the pleather, so I I chose a contrasting fuchsia wool in a tone that is quite a bit deeper than the pleather. I have removed the sleeves and am about to proceed. If any knowledgeable sewers out there have thoughts, or know if a sewing blog, I would happily welcome thoughts. Am hoping the pleather which has a supportive hacking holds up after I sew over the same sleeve seams again. It seems stable at this point. The project is a disaster of my own making, as I should have passed on this “ask”.
This was perfect for my project! The color was a true white, and this fabric has a nice weight— not too light or heavy. This product has a crisp drape and a slight sheen.
I've learned my lesson to order a swatch…this does not have the familiar knit of ponte that I intended for a pair of pants. It is VERY heavy fabric. The color is gorgeous though, and I will make a garment with it at some point. Perhaps better suited to a jacket.
Used this silk to sew my wedding dress and it worked out great. The drape is beautiful. Only drawbacks were that the fabric was a little more lightweight than I was hoping for, and unfortunately I didn't see that the width was only 40″! So make sure to take that into account. I initially planned to do a full length circle skirt with three panels, which unfortunately was not possible. :(
Easy easy to work with, zero fraying and lovely drape! I'm mid-stream at the moment making this short unlined coat with every inch of the yardage I bought …. Next time I'll order MORE …will be making a long coat in a deeper hue. I love this fabric!
This is a small button I used to secure a cropped jacket at the neck area- I purchased a larger size to secure the jacket at the center—The jacket had no prior buttons
Perfect color, a little late for the holidays but I used Moods Sewciety”s The Kleinia Blouse pattern. There is an under layer of Italian Black Stiff Gazar for weather thickness. Great for the unusual cold this year.
I originally bought the 24″ frenchette fringe in ecru at the store but found it wasn't long enough for the dress I was making. So happy they carry the 40″ fringe online! It is more white than the ecru but I dyed it to be a bit creamier and it turned out perfect!
This is very soft and ‘natural' feeling, not plasticity at all, like many poly or nylon laces.
The colors are like as shown ( at least on my screen).
Very happy.
This dotted pattern paper is a very good quality and it comes in a 30 yards and that is helpful for me when it comes to designing patterns and hacking my commercial paper pattern to something new. The roll is 45″ wide and that is good
Beautiful print share. I will be making a long duster lined with a sheer fabric. I also will be making a pair of white pants and appliquéing one of the flowers up one of the legs of the pants. This should make a very stunning outfit. Once again the colors are perfect for my iPad to the real fabric. You are the best

I made an upholstery bed frame with it like the “cloud bed” turned out perfect! Easy to work with.

Bought this to replace a button that came with a sweater that I didn't care for. This button dressed up my sweater & made it ‘my own'

LOVE this fabric. Very drapery and perfect for a loose ‘oversized' top. Always quality fabric and service from MOOD.

I was looking to make my version of a Coco Chanel suit. I found this material at mood and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT… Very light tweed. Love it!

Washes well, handles well, drapes well…all in all a great mid weight fabric.

Great material to work with. I was looking for a light, soft fabric to make café curtains and this was perfect!
