The laces shown are lovely, and I wish that I could use more of them my projects. I make silk herbal sachets which are only about 3″ square, and decorate them with lace, and beads. Many of the beautiful laces are too wide for these small sachets, and are still such treat to see in the displays.
I make herbal silk sachets which are about 3″ square. The laces which are narrow work well with my projects. This is a lovely lace and suits the size of the sachet very well.
I used Royal Blue 70 Denier Square Nylon Ripstop to make a raincoat for an 18″doll using Library Jane's “Pepperhill Raincoat” pattern. I also used a lovely Poplin in a floral motif for the lining. The rip stop was very easy to use and did not ravel as I was afraid it would.
If you're looking for dark black keep looking. This wasn't what I expected—it's way prettier. It's almost impossible to photograph it's really reflective but it's gorgeous. It will match as black. If that makes sense. So much more beautiful in person I can't even describe it.
This is lamé fabric — covered in glitter, which is barely attached and gets everywhere. I don't want to sew with it and ruin my machine or get it all over my house, since I have a cat and don't want him to swallow it while grooming himself.
Thank you .... despite the “ smallness” of my order it was a “ giant “ success .... it was just what my project needed.... jerr I am a wood worker not a sewing type .... though I apreciate a well sewn profuct
It's was okay ish when I saw the word “canvas “ I thought it would be thicker and heavier but instead it was just normal cotton. I ended up not being able to use it for what I bought it for.
Lovely fabric, was going to make a beach dress but ran out of time before trip! Next year…
Really fun fabric. Could also be big full skirt. Lots of things.
I am a fairly new sewer; I got my first sewing machine in October 2021. I was terrified of even touching cotton voile, unsure of its applications. “What if it is too thin?” “What if I get it and don't like it?” This was also my first order from Mood Fabrics so, I had no ideas of the quality standards for this company. I loved that the website provided icons for suggested use which made selected a project for a beginner much easier. I am super grateful I gave it a shot and I was able to make something beautiful for myself. There's enough left for me to make even more!
The color of this fabric is super concentrated! You know how some fabrics aren't the easiest to manage? “Which side is the ‘front' and which side is the ‘back'?” Didn't have that problem even once. It is such a beautiful color in person!
This color was slightly different than what I expected. I was trying to use this in a brown ombré pattern. It will work, but I wish I had gotten a sample.

I love this fabric — it creates such a gentle and cuddly profile from a distance. With silver threads running through, it draws plenty of attention.

I used this as a lining in a tiny raincoat for an 18″ doll. It works up very nicely, it it sturdy and hangs nicely.

Very nice fabric—wide, which is good! It does need pressing, but this is common with many cottons.

I ordered this during warm weather, but just finished the dress this past weekend. I love it—different, but also classic!

The design of the print is okay, but the “stiffness” of the fabric is not what I was hoping for.

Just what I wanted…..creative and not the usual design, slight stretch and beautiful weight for a summer shift.
