The fabric arrived sooner than I expected. I was glad to see it was heavier than I had imagined. It ‘s a good match to coordinating fabric.

Loved this sample and may be using it for a jacket over my dress for my son's wedding. A little pricey though….

I stumbled on Mood Fabrics while hunting for silk online to make a slip and Tencel to make a skirt. The specific names of the different fabrics offered were unfamiliar to me. I noticed that they offer to send samples but I was eager to get on with my project so ordered without doing this added step. I ordered lengths of both types of fabric. In both cases, the weight and texture of the fabric I received is lovely but lighter weight than what I would prefer for my projects. There is nothing like seeing and feeling fabric to know it is what you are looking for. …or at least researching adequately to have a clearer idea of what will be coming. I will be ordering from Mood again.

When I'm ready for another all white soirée, this piece will definitely be a show stopper. The pearls are a nice size and very secure, making this fabric easier to sew a nice pullover tunic or blouse, perhaps. I wouldn't mind creating multiple pieces from this fabric, even if more colors surfaced!

I will say, the color is less purple in person. It is a pinkish taupe, whereas the photograph looks lilac. At any rate, this is a beautiful fabric — smooth, crisp yet soft, opaque, thin. The only problem with it is deciding what to make!

This is beautiful, glossy faux lamb, very dark black. I received the fabric promptly after placing my order, in perfect condition. I used it to make a collar and cuffs for Lisette Butterick coat pattern B6385. When working with the fur I interfaced the under-collar only, as the fur crushes when it's ironed. It was easy to work with and sew, although it sheds like crazy after you cut it—but such is the nature of faux fur. Keep a vacuum nearby!

While traveling home from the Bahamas I spotted a white wool coat on a fellow traveler of good taste- carrying Louis Vuitton luggage and was inspired to make a “travel coat”. The fabric has a nice heft without being too light. It's soft on skin and easy to sew. * I added a slice of petrified wood as a button*

Mistakenly, I bought this interfacing planning to use it in a linen blazer. Wrong! It's too difficult to manipulate on large pieces. In frustration, I'd thought to pitch it but then had a better idea... the stuff works beautifully for small appliqués. Now I'm planning to make Star Wars aprons for my son and his family,

I bought only 1/2 yard of this lovely fabric, so I could see the size of the flamingoes etc. it is beautiful. I'm not sure if I will use it for a skirt yet, or cut out the flamingoes and appliqué it on a garment. I am saving it for something special.

I had to make 4 little flower girl dresses for my granddaughters so I searched all over for silk shantung to “match” some that I already had. I wanted to buy from a US location as my timeline wouldn't allow for lengthy delivery! This was perfect! I wish Mood was in High Point!

Used this fabric for the finale piece in my “after the storm” collection (get it? Rainbows :smirk:) Anyway, it was beautiful fabric to work with and got a huge amount of compliments. Thanks!

I was happy with colors and texture, and the material is opaque enough to have no lining for the dress I made. I was a little worried that it is too “busy”, but the resulting dress does not have that effect - just a happy, sunny, playful dress! Love it.

I'm a big fan of faux fur, and this is exceptional quality. I made a vest, and ran the nap in the opposite direction for a more “spiked “ effect.

Perfect for finishing the cuffs and hem of a bomber jacket. Isn't it strange that this type of product is impossible to find at a retail giant like Joann? For cuffs and hems it's really nice to have the 7″ width when you double it over. Anything narrower makes an insufficient cuff. Thanks Mood! I used it to make this sequin bomber. ig@SideHustleStitches

Looking forward to making a long sleeve swim T. The UV protection is great for in the pool and the print is cute enough to wear “on land” to run errands or just hang out in.

I received my order promptly and everything was correct. Thanks for saving me a “non-essential” store trip during the pandemic.

This is an absolutely gorgeous linen! It is lightweight with a nice hand and soft drape. I washed it in hot water and dried on perma press and it did very well, coming out with a soft rumpled look. An iron set on ‘linen' took this lovely linen over the top...so beautiful. The color is just as the photograph describes on my Mac computer and did not disappoint both when unpackaging this linen and after wash/dry. It is a bit heavier than a lawn; I would call it lightweight as it is still nicely floaty and drapey. I'm going to use it for a kimono but it would also be perfect for a summer shirt or dress, circle skirt, bedroom pillow covers, lightweight curtains (lining recommended), or even some pretty little linen guest towels. Yes, it's definitely worth $30.00/yard. PS: A dream to sew on!

I purchased this fabric to make girls' dresses to donate. While it would be simple to make a skirt with this border print, making a dress posed to be a challenge, due to all of the other horizontal designs! Also, with the repeat being only 25″, I was limited to smaller sizes, unless I wanted to use two panels. So this dress is a girls' size 7, and I'm happy with the way it turned out! I have more fabric, and am thinking I'll go with an easier, sleeveless dress next time!

This is a great thread, I use it for maskmaking. I have Halloween masks that I‘m making; and it matches the pumpkin colour as well as some sport themes - specifically teams. Fall is back to school for the kids and Star Wars is a great theme for them. This is a great all-around thread that I enjoy using for all these happy projects.
