I was thrilled with this fabric! It is so versatile for projects from casual to elegant. I chose to go with a pullover tunic with 3/4 sleeve. It fits beautifully without being bulky and the stretch is comfortable to move in. It has a slight sheen which gives it a rich feel and look. Easy wash and wear care.
I purchased this knit to make a very simple cowl top. The knit is very distorted. I had to trim a significant amount from the edges to try straighten the grain.
I am not sure if I will be able to make anything with this. The knit is brushed on the right side and attracts lint and dust. very disappointing purchase.
I was mostly just hoping for it to be a pure white, and it's much more off-white. It seems to be good quality, but I only bought a sample and did not end up using it in my final project.
This light, open tweed has the perfect weave for embellishing with ribbons and other fibres. The variety of colours in this "Botanical Garden" makes it quite versatile for color matching with pants, skirts and even a dress or two. Getting a swatch before purchasing ensured that it had the properties I wanted. There is even a little bit of sparkle from the golden-rose ribbon that is already woven into it. I plan on enhancing this even further.
