Subtle navy and black quilted brocade. For comfort and color I chose a dark lining to accent the navy. Perfect for a structured piece that will retain shape. I am sure this will be a joy to sew with as I like the prep work that goes into beautiful sewing.
This was the only site I found this fabric (besides cheap garish knock-offs of the pattern) its absolutely stunning especially in the sunshine. You can change the effect by pairing with lighter colors or gemstone colors. I had my wedding dress made and reception outfit with differing the under layer colors of Satin Crepe Silk also from Mood.
This fabric has a beautiful weight; not at all flimsy but rich and fluid. I did not have to do a single layout as is often needed for think silks such as charmeuse. The color is stunning!
I ordered this to line a linen dress. The linen has a white ground with a printed vining floral. The dress is underlined in white muslin. The lining is so transparent and thin that the seams allowances show right through the lining. I would only use this fabric to line a solid white fabric as any color in the seams or markings would show through.
My mystery box and trim box came today and I couldn't wait to open it. Gorgeous, beautiful fabrics and trims! And enough of each to make tops, a skirt, wrap, etc. A wonderful assortment of fabrics. Will have to check out care of these fabrics. Brocades, what look like soft, drapeable material, not synthetic. Possibly silk. Satins. Magnificent! Lots to experiment with.
I purchased this fabric with the hopes of picking it up the next day. It just so happened that there was miscommunication. I got there in the fabric was not ready for pick up yet after driving four hours from out of state.
The exceptional customer service made it possible for me to get this fabric and save me the embarrassment of customers coming to pick up the items and not find them ready.
I am immensely grateful for the opportunity. I had to witness the exceptional customer service during this process. They have a customer for life in me.
This fabric is gorgeous, with a liquid drape and moderate sheen. However, it's very thin and lightweight. Consider lining it for modesty and durability.
This rayon jersey is midweight for a rayon jersey and completely opaque. It has a very smooth cottony feel almost like a mercerized cotton. I'd call this color fuchsia. It has great recovery.
This midweight jersey has more body than your typical rayon. If the fiber wasn't labeled, I would assume it was a cotton-poly blend. I haven't washed it yet, and I hope the drape improves with washing. It's completely opaque and the handfeel is a bit rough for a jersey. It's okay, but not what I'd expect for a rayon jersey. The color is wrong in the picture -- it's more of a neon pinky coral. I don't recommend it.
This rayon jersey is so close to perfect. It's somewhere between light and medium weight for a jersey, with a cottony handfeel and gorgeous drape. The color in the picture is more neon than the actual fabric. In real life, the fabric is a wearable fuchsia, my favorite color. Wish I had ordered more than a swatch. A bit light for a dress or fitted skirt unless you line it. A top or gathered skirt would be fine unlined.

I keep muslin on hand to use as interfacings and also for backing on some projects. Seems good--a nice weight

This fabric was so pretty on the website I just had to order it. Will probably sew a dress or pretty blouse or shirt.

I was very pleased when my buttons arrived. They are high quality and looked just as pictured, even prettier actually.

The fabric was what I expected, perhaps a bit stretchier then I thought.
