Gorgeous velvet! Looks more black than navy. Little navy dots are visible in bright light. Medium weight, hangs beautifully.

This was absolutely the perfect fabric for my first-ever coat. The fur is very soft and the colors are every bit as bright as it looks in the pictures

I bought this just because it promised to be a steal. It was! The fabric has a beautiful color, soft hand and will be excellent for the tailored dress I have in mind.

This fabric is comfortable and drapes beautifully! It is easy to work with, but it is not colorfast and costantly rubs off onto whatever it is touching.

The fabric sewed easily. Before cutting, I applied medium weight black knit interfacing to the fabric, to stabilize the fabric and to prevent fraying of the cut edges. Because of the drop in the fabric design, I had to carefully pin the stripes periodically on the folded fabric so that I was sure the stripes aligned on both cut edges of the fabric. You need to order extra fabric to accommodate the 2.5" drop in the fabric. It was not possible to get a perfect match on the sleeves because of the gathering at the top of the sleeve, but it was pretty close. I skipped doing bound buttonholes because of the weave of the fabric. The machined buttonholes turned out well.

I haven't made it yet, but the plan is for a floaty tunic-style top to wear with black trousers or skirt. I have the fabric hanging in my workroom, waiting for a turn. I love looking at it and running it through my fingers.

This fabric certainly feels more expensive than what I paid for it. It has a decent amount of stretch and yet is easy to sew. I made the Penelope pants with it and am planning on using the extra to make a vest Great for work.

I ordered just a swatch of this fabric. It's great quality as expected and a cute print, not sure yet when I'll place a larger order.
