I am a professional seamstress specializing in women's stretch wear and love buying new fabric to try out. I found a winner here! This fabric has great compression without being constricting. I made Greenstyle Patterns Resolution leggings with it, and they have the perfect smoothing effect without limiting my mobility (or restricting breathing as some compressive fabrics can do). One side has a slightly more brushed feel and I use this as my wrong side/against the skin. The buttery, flexible feel is superior to any athletic fabric I've used in the past. I highly recommend!!

Beautifully designed knit lace with subtle sequins. Unusual mix of colors that can be used with black, olive, and copper. Excellent quality and surprisingly easy to work with. As always, excellent service from Mood.

I was very impressed with this fabric. It looked exactly as pictured and was of high quality. I found that it held shape very well, and was easy to sew!

This knit was very nice to work with. The only problem was how to handle interfacing if it is needed. The show through the knit pattern is significant, therefore I did not interface the color or the bottom band. I did get a compliment on my garment, so all is well.

Made a pant suit out of this material. I did line it even though description said lining optional. In my opinion, lining was needed. Good quality material and project came out great. Very happy, especially given the sales price & machine washability.

It arrived very quickly, it's a very good fabric to use when trying out a new pattern. I find that mood carries the best muslin for my projects. I'd would never shop any where else.

This button is better looking in person.

I used this classic fabric back in 2014 in my design of the Geometric Rose Pattern #1. The pattern only required the use of just this one fabric to make the whole quilt, which looks like it is a combination of many different batik fabrics.

Lovely fabric for a special event. Suggest a lining, since the metallic threads are not ideal against bare skin.

I downloaded the Peony Blouse Pattern and purchased this fabric to make it. I did a few mock-ups before using this fabric. Once I felt confident, I made it in this material and I love it. The fabric is very easy to work with. It is beautiful in texture and pattern. The colors are vibrant, and I have received many compliments on the material. I look forward to finding similar material for other projects.

This thread was a great match for the fabric. I would recommend sewing more slowly with this thread because there was a tendency for it to break.

I purchased this fabric to make boucle stockings and knew purchasing upholstery fabric would make this more challenging than if I had used something thinner. the fabric performed well and looks great. Only thing I would add is that the base fabric is a creme color that showed slightly more than in the online pictures, but his could have just been in the small half yard I purchased. Overall happy with how my project turned out!

Soft and beautiful with a flowy drape. The squares have a soft raised texture to them. I was impressed with the color and texture of this.

Very nice fabric with wonderful drape. I made a copy of a high-end iconic kimono coat in calf length. I did not wash the fabric first. If I made another coat I would wash. Holding the fabric to the light you can see daylight. After finishing the coat I washed one small piece and, washed and machine dried another. Washing and drying achieved an opaque and thick boiled wool. Washing and air drying was in between the two. I am now in the dilemma of whether I should wash the finished coat and risk the alteration it might make in size. It is beautiful the way it is. Just not as heavy as it would have been if washed.

A fun take on a plaid. The fabric itself is very comfortable and was easy to work with. There is a noticeable amount of give, in both the cross and grain directions. I'd label this fabric's weight as the thicker side of a medium weight. And the fabric does have a slight pebbled, both in feel and color variation, the latter of which is only noticeable up close.

The fabric is very smooth, and feels great to the touch. The reverse side is slightly matte. I would recommend basting this piece if you are trying to back or line it as it has a tendency to shift even when pinned in place. As a warning, the fabric tends to fray fairly easily. Overall, very lovely fabric with a great feel, I used it as the inside lining of a hood for an accent piece, and it is super silky and smooth!

The pale blush does not look like the image online and I think that is pitiful to sell colors that don’t match the actual fabric color
