Colors are just what I was hoping for. Soft hand, feeling of lightness, flowers are defined and the colors are saturated in places. I have not seen this yet, but it's in my short term plans before the summer. Thank you, Mood!
I purchased this fabric to make the new Ellie & Mac trench coat pattern. I guess I didn't read the description very well because it's definitely more of a raincoat type of fabric. I wasn't expecting it to feel so plastic but it's a beautiful color, maybe a tad bit lighter than the photos on the website. It's very smooth and slippery. I was originally planning to line it with cupro but, after feeling it, I think something more cozy like fleece would be better as I wanted to make a winter coat. It seems like it would make a great summer raincoat if you use a lightweight lining.
The bright pattern and the hand of the fabric made for a perfect circle skirt in this vivid rainbow assortment of colors. I also used the remnants to line the yoke, collar and cuffs of a pale blue oxford dress shirt for my son in law for work. Another win for Mood Fabrics in terms of being able to find the perfect fabric for any project.
Soft touch, beautiful drape, nice stretch and easy to sew if you have any experience with knits or spandex. Not bright white, more of a slightly off white.
I first purchased a sample, and then 5 yards of this awesome black metallic striated brocade to make a dramatic long coat for my Symphonic Metal band Shaylon's video shoot.
I ended up interfacing the entire bodice and sleeves to give more structure. The fabric frays, but a quick zigzag along the edge before sewing together helped keep the seams in check.
Great look & exactly what I had hoped for!
This crepe teal was the top for my Alexander Wang black pants. They looked fantastic together, and I got many compliments on the outfit. The contrast of the saturated color with the black and the contrasting textures made for a beautiful set.
This beautiful satin with the absolutely glowing luster became the lapels for a black, embroidered velveteen jacket to wear with my black pants and teal top for a special occasion. The jacket turned out exactly as I had pictured it...a feminine take on a tux!
This fabric is beautiful. I made a pair of palazzio for a special occasion and they were fabulous. I felt so glamorous and sophisticated while I was wearing them. Thanks, MOOD for a contribution to a great night!
This fabric was exactly as I expected it to be thanks to the description. It's very light weight and has a nice amount of stretch. I will definitely order the Isadora stretch polyester fabric again.
