I first purchased a sample, and then 5 yards of this awesome black metallic striated brocade to make a dramatic long coat for my Symphonic Metal band Shaylon’s video shoot.
I ended up interfacing the entire bodice and sleeves to give more structure. The fabric frays, but a quick zigzag along the edge before sewing together helped keep the seams in check.
Great look & exactly what I had hoped for!
