these voiles are beautiful and have a nice drape, but even for a voile they are quite sheer if youre going to use the lighter fabrics i recommend self lining the body of the garmet or wearing a slip, if you dont want to do either but still want a similar effect the ravello shirting cotton is a good substitute but is a little more per yard. either way both are beautiful fabrics
Worked perfectly for the style and look I needed. I had the blue and silver style and was very pleased. Can be a bit challenging to cut and sew if you are not experienced as it is a thin fabric. It came packaged very nice on a roll so the fabric did not crease in shipping.
I made a gorgeous McCalls 7325 blouse with this fabric. It has a wonderful drapey-ness that was perfect for a flowing boho top. Very light weight, but doesn't need lining. Perfect for summer.
If you know you know, sequin is a pain to work with, these were larger sequin and you can't get away with not taking them out of the seam allowance. They have a mind of their own and very hard to tame, this fabric make pretty dresses but whew!
I purchased to colorways in this pattern. Both pieces are absolutely gorgeous, color wise and pattern wise. I pre-washed both pieces and being rayon it came out as soft and hardly had to put an iron to the fabric before I cut it out. I plan to make a dress with this color way and the other color way I made a gorgeous bias blouse that drapes beautifully . You are my go to for wonderful fabrics!!!!!! Thanks
