Being georgette this is not an easy fabric to handle, so i wouldn't recommend it for beginners. It is a wonderfully light and beautiful fabric though! I made a no-waste single panel top out of it. Can't wait for summer now!
Heavier than I expected but perhaps I just didn't pay enough attention as the weight is in the description. It's a nice fabric. It does have lime green polka dots on the reverse side. It can be seen in the photo now when I look for it, but I was surprised to see the whole new reverse pattern on the cut I received. It is funky, though just not quite my thing. I'm still happy with the fabric, and continuing with my original sewing plan despite the heavier hand.
This fabric is light but drapes well and has a lovely texture. It was delivered promptly--got good email notices--and is the color I expected, which is not always the case in ordering online.
Bought this fabric to go with some silver sequined fabric pants (fabric I also bought from Mood). I made this cute top. It washes and dries beautifully. I pre-washed it just to make sure it did not shrink on me later.
This is a lovely fabric. I had previously made a simple sleeveless dress in the black color and it was lovely to wear, very cool for summer. This is a very drapey fabric and is VERY difficult to cut evenly. My second project is with the pink and wine colors and involved long seams, large pattern pieces, and difficult shapes. Trying to get the fabric to stay aligned while cutting has tried my patience and my number of pattern weights.! One thing that was helpful is that this fabric can be rent cleanly along the weft threads and it ripped straight and even. This was especially helpful in matching grain edges for cutting on large skirt pieces. Though I find this fabric difficult to work with I do think you will also love wearing the resulting garment.
This light-weight cotton voile is beautiful, holds its shape, and easy to work with. The metallic bits are a little stratchy, so I'd recommend lining with a soft solid fabric where the right side comes against your skin. Overall great and fun fabric!

This fabric is easy thinner than I expected but should do for the summer pants I've got cut out.

This is the second time I've ordered this muslin. It's a nice weight, easy to work with, and washes well, as long as you don't leave it in the dryer.
