This fabric is perfect for a summer dress, blouse or skirt. It’s very ethereal and it’s giving summer solstice - moon - water sign vibes. It’s a beautiful dark lavender and looks better in person than the picture. Lining is preferred since it’s a little sheer and a bit scratchy due to the metallic threads.

Beautiful fabric & great quality. Colors match the picture. Its lightweight so you’ll need lining.

I bought this three times because it is fabulous jacket/coat material. Similar commercial items aren’t even lined so this makes quick assembly. You will love this fabric!

The fabric is nice quality and just the hand I need for my dress but, through no fault of Mood, the color wasn’t right. It was quite a bit brighter and clearer than it appeared on my iPad screen. This was my first time ordering online, so it was a live and learn moment. ü´§

I haven’t been in the habit of ordering online, but This pick was perfect. The quality of the fabric is exactly how it is described online. I lined a skirt with the fabric.

Beautiful green & olive with a splash of light blue. It’s light and airy. The background reads more black than navy but that’s how I see it. Will make a tunic flowing top or dress.

Very pleased with this fabric. I am enjoying my project because the weight, the color and the hand are perfect. It isn’t a “fussy” material. Super easy to work with, a great fabric. Also want to note that Mood and is prompt, accurate and makes fabric shopping fun. Many thanks.

Would have been perfect for a dress I had already started but it was the wrong color (needed more fabric but the one I originally got was from a different store and was discontinued) so I’m planning a skirt to use this in and I’m so excited to see how it comes out!!

The green gardeners gift voile fabric is truly amazing. I love how it flows, easy to care for (wash, light iron (for a crisper look) and go), and it was extremely easy to work with to create something amazing that I’ll wear for years.

This fabric is so easy to work with while creating something you’ll wear for years. It is a light weight voile and drapes incredibly well. The color of the blue is perfect, like Goldilocks not too much, not too little. Just perfect. I’m buying more.

I love this weight for a light summer shawl that is perfect for air conditioned restaurants when I don’t want something heavy to carry. It rolls up nicely then rolls open for a nice shawl over my shoulders. Perfect!

It can be used for blue jeans, but I was able to do a crop top and skirt. I made an outfit for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour in Houston, TX. @genevieverachelcouture

Does great as a topstitching for blue jeans. It’s thicker than normal thread and my machine didn’t like it too much but overall it created beautiful topstitching.

Love this fabric, light, no fraying. Making a swim coverup and this is perfect. I’ve used other brands of this type of material and they are not as nice as this one. I will definitely be buying this again

    1. The colors of the white version listing are inaccurate /off . The color of the sewed example in the blog is more realistic. If I had knows green lizards would be crawling all over my dress I would have opted for something else. But that being said. I’m making a summer trapeze dress and because the dress has some movement, the crawling lizard effect is minimized

Well, now that we don’t have Joann’s stores to walk into to match thread to fabric, we have to rely on accurate photos to shop online. Fortunately, the Mood Fabric photos were accurate enough that I was able to match blues and tans. Will shop here again.

I’d been eyeing this railroaded linen for a while before I purchased 2. 5 yards of it. The colors are a tad more muted in person than on my phone, but I still like the look of this fabric very much. It would make for some very neat chevron effects. It’s easy to sew with, quite sturdy feeling, and easy to grip.
