Thick wool yarns sit overtop a thin black knit giving the piece a unique ribbed appearance. The soft wool fades from shades of sea green to navy as it presents a flexible drape. With a significant amount of stretch through the weft, it has us dreaming of cocoon sweaters and cardigans with asymmetrical hemlines. Thick with a medium weight, it is slightly translucent.

Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods.
These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

I did not pre-swatch, but took a chance the polyester content would not annoy my natural fibre preferences. Indeed not! The poly jersey only serves as the base for attaching the wool strands and is not apparent. This is gorgeous yardage, not too color intense.
