This bright Orange Featherwale Cotton Corduroy steals the show! Made of 100% combed cotton, it boasts a soft, lightly fuzzy hand upon its classic ribbed design. For those unfamiliar with the term "featherwale", it refers to the thinness of the cords. This particular collection holds 21 wales per inch. Thin and lightweight, it has a stiffer drape that lends itself to tailored designs. We see retro buttoned shirts, cuffed shorts and simple dresses. Translucent, insert a lining for more opacity.

Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

Machine-wash warm or cold, tumble dry. Pull straight from the dryer to prevent wrinkles, or iron while damp. Prewash cotton fabrics before cutting out your pattern.

    This fabric is very easy to work with. It's very lightweight and is has very soft ridges. The fabric it's self is a bit brighter than it is in the picture. I've made at least 7 garments that incorporates this fabric.

    I bought the orange, navy, and dark green. The orange is very different from the photo, almost a neon color. Not the deeper, almost brownish pictured. The other two were as photographed.
