This wool was the primary fabric used in a cloak/coat for my client who is a professional Santa. The fabric has an interesting texture and I would describe it as a mid weight. The color is green but with a slight cast of blue.

As others have stated, the wool is as described, and made a nice heavyweight sweater cardigan/jacket. It sews very easily with Gutermann Sew-All thread and a Schmetz Universal size 70 needle.
The only reason I am giving it four stars rather than five is because this particular color is not quite like the green shown in the photos (the other colors of this fabric that I've seen in person are exactly like the photos, though). The Forest photos show a unique muted/desaturated green, with a hint of blue; which is exactly what I was looking for. However, the actual fabric I received is much more green, like a hunter green. Lesson learned — definitely buy a swatch if you need a very specific color, or else you could end up making a costly mistake like I did.

I used this fabric in black to make Tessuti Verona jacket. A typical boiled wool, edge finishes aren't necessary, and the drape is lovely. The fabric has great boiled wool texture and the color selection is extensive with nearly three dozen to choose from. I also purchased this in the dusty lavender colorway. It's a beautiful fabric!
