Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods.
These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

So, this is advertised as a novelty knit, but it’s really a woven. That, however, was not a problem for me. It’s still got some serious 1971 Missoni-ish vibes going for it (I say “-ish” because, well… it’s not a knit). It’s a fairly loose weave too, but the fabric stayed together stunningly well with less unraveling than I would have expected, all things considered. I may actually buy the winter version of this fabric and make myself a suit out of it because it really was quite fun to work with. My only warning is that there is no repetition of the color throughout so if you want to make a piece that carries the pattern throughout over the seams, you have to cut all of the pieces in a row so just be aware that you may need additional yardage if making something complicated with lots of pieces. I ended up having to buy an extra yard after the fact to get all of my pieces out of it, and I have a ton of extra left over from the top half of the fabric, because I only used the bottom 2/3 of the design.
