Double the gauze, double the fabric—and the fun!—with this Gamboge Double Cotton Gauze. Seriously soft and airy, this deep golden yellow woven is ready for spring and summer. Its relaxed drape adds to its overall casual feel as it falls into soft silhouettes. Flowing tunics, layered tanks, and high-low dresses can all be made from the comfortable woven. The double layers add to its thickness, yet the gauze still remains translucent. Insert a lining for increased opacity!Please Note: The dye lot of this fabric has changed as of May 2022. Additionally, our fabric quality has changed to the slightest degree. However, they become softer and more crinkled with each wash, ensuring an ultra-comfortable experience. If you had previously ordered this material, please order a swatch to ensure you love the new texture as much as we do, and that the new dye lot meets your color requirements.

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

HOW TO CARE FOR COTTON FABRICS:
Machine-wash warm or cold, tumble dry. Pull straight from the dryer to prevent wrinkles, or iron while damp. Prewash cotton fabrics before cutting out your pattern.

    I love this color. The only negative feature I have noticed is that the fabric in this color seems to absorb dye more readily (when I combined it with Navy, the navy bled onto it in the cold wash.) While I realize this can happen, it normally doesn't, so either the Navy had a lot of dye or the Gamboge accepted it more readily…The color and had are beautiful, though!

    This fabric feels so lovely, was perfect for Mood’s Evanthe blouse pattern. Very soft and floaty. My only complaints were that it frays heavily and is a little delicate to work with—I got numerous pulls in it before I even wore it. That being said, that’s pretty typical of gauze so as long as you’re prepared for that it sews up nicely.
