Take a trip to tropical waters with our Grasmere Barrier Reef Medium Weight Linen Woven! The ideal material for warmer weather, this fabric is of a medium weight with a delicately slubbed texture and overall soft hand. With a flexible drape and no stretch, create everything from basic circle skirts and shirts to elegant wrap dresses and pinafores to pieces appropriate for historical costuming! Somewhat translucent, particularly in lighter colors, a lining may be added for modesty and additional structure in some pieces, but won't be necessary for most projects.Please Note: The dye lot of this fabric has changed as of June 2025. If you had previously ordered this material, please order a swatch to ensure the new dye lot meets your color requirements.

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

    I have used this fabric on many occasions and it doesn't disappoint. Yes, linen wrinkles but that's linen. It sews up nicely and has wonderful drape. I've made modern blouses, 1930s dresses, 1890s skirts with this fabric and it's timeless and classic.
