I wasn’t no thinking it was going to be a soft baby pink. I was thinking more of a dull rose pink. The quality of the fabric is lovely. I will most likely use this for my grand babies.

The pink color is very sweet. The fleece side is wonderfully soft. But…I used it to make a sweatshirt with the fleecy side on the inside. The outer surface of the sleeves immediately began to pill badly, on the underside where they rub against things. I'm guessing the fleece is meant to be the outer surface of the garment. But that still wouldn't explain such significant pilling. Something to be aware of if you purchase this fabric. Otherwise is was easy to work with and sewed up quite nicely.

I purchased this fleece when I picked up sewing a few years ago. I made a lovely tunic with a high collar that has a drawstring. Then, I used bias tape I made from calico print cotton for the drawstring and the hemlines. I am coming back and purchasing a lot more because I love the feel of the tunic but I absolutely could make it look more professional today. Yeah, this is the cheap stuff (Fabric). But, yeah, it makes cuddly clothing. I'd say it is great for beginners BUT not really, unless you have a serger. I have one but opted to sew my tunic on a sewing machine–it was challenging back then.
It is a pretty baby pink. I, too, thought it would be dusty rose. It is not. But, I love it so much, I am back, buying more!
