I used this fabric for pants and I'm very happy with the look and quality of it.

I made McCalls 4553, the out of print gown/caftan pattern with this fabric, the long length, short sleeve version. I put a beaded appliqué around the V neck. It is exquisite, my students loved it. Some items of note: this fabric is Jean weight with stretch in both axis, it unravels more easily than some other more tightly woven cottons, so overcasting the raw edges is very much recommended. Zigzag the raw edges and wash the fabric before cutting. This is a one way design so take that into consideration when ordering yardage and placing the pattern for cutting out. I wish I could post the picture of it made up.
