Derived from the flax plant, linen is a natural fiber known for its textured charm; as seen on the face, horizontal and vertical slubbing orchestrates the same laidback feel of a beach bungalow or a country farmhouse…right in your city apartment (and everywhere in between). Whether adding dimension to your curtains and valances, softening your window treatments, or handling even your largest drapery projects, its double-wide measurement invites you to sit back, relax, and let the crisp hand do the talking. Some sewing tips for this delicate fabric include: Longer stitch lengths often work best, as they help prevent the fabric from getting caught in your machine. As always, we suggest testing on a scrap first (you might need to adjust tension settings, too).As it frays easily, you will want to finish your seams with a serger, French seams, or an overlock stitch.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.
