“...the blinds and matting are taken down from the stands as you watch,...” and our Mood Exclusive Evening Draws In Stretch Cotton Sateen moves “...you to a poignant sense of the brevity of worldly things.” From the Mood Exclusive Kenko Collection: Crisp with a soft, gummy feel, this medium-weight wonder expresses a dull sheen across its digitally-printed facing. Evenly spaced stripes of picante-red and light-rose-beige band together, running vertically to the selvage, composing a surreal scene; and as “...the sight sinks deeply into one's being... one feels ‘Oh! for a friend with whom to share this!'”. And, who wouldn't want to share this gem? With its anti-static make-up, breathability, knack for drawing perspiration away from the body, and wrinkle-resistant surface, it is quite the dream! Specially constructed with a satin weave, twisted staple fibers combine with elastomeric fibers—producing a crosswise stretch of about 10%—while weft yarns floating over (at least four) warp yarns create a hint of luster and smooth surface, (overall similar to a twill weave without yielding a diagonal ridge). “...being pleasing to the eye and at the same time useful for all sorts of purposes…” translate this stunning beauty into countless silhouettes—taking inspiration from its semi-stiff, flexible drape (and the poetic writings of Yoshida Kenko!): Sew together body-hugging looks such as a blouse or sheath dress with a billowing peplum, high-waisted wide leg trousers, shirt dresses, and more! On the brink of opaque, a lining is left up to personal preference but is not of necessity.

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Machine-wash warm or cold, tumble dry. Pull straight from the dryer to prevent wrinkles, or iron while damp. Prewash cotton fabrics before cutting out your pattern.

    I bought this to do a 1920s swimsuit since I cannot wear wool. It's a lovely subtle stripe and beautiful fabric. It has a slight stretch to it which will be nice for swimwear.
