I created a pattern from a purchased pencil skirt to turn the ombré into my new skirt. The weight of the fabric is correct but it is a little stiff for the drape. I used the dark turquoise for the skirt and faces the waistband with a lighter section of the ombré. Overall, I very satisfied with the outcome.
