This set of detailed instructions tells you exactly how to sew an insulated blanket or a single-layer turnout (or rain sheet) for your horse.   Webbing and clips go across the chest, under the girth, and behind the back legs.  The size can be adjusted to fit your horse and helpful hints in the instructions tell you how to fit the blanket.

4½ yd (4.1 m) .. 45" (115 cm) Pack Cloth or Cordura
4½ yd (4.1 m) .. 45" (115 cm) Insulated Lining—Diamond/Channel Quilt (optional)
8 yd (7.4 m) ...... 1½" (3.8 cm) Nylon Tape for Edge Binding
2 yd (1.8 m) ...... 2" (5 cm) Heavy duty Nylon or Polypropylene Webbing
4 yd (3.7 m) ...... 1" (2.5 cm) Nylon Webbing or Web Elastic
1 yd (.92 m) ...... ¾" (2 cm) Nylon Webbing
2 ....................... ¾" (2 cm) Side-Release Buckles
1 ....................... 2" (5 cm) Side-Release Buckle or Surcingle
2 ....................... 1" (2.5 cm) Sliders
2 ....................... 2" (5 cm) Sliders
2 ....................... 1" (2.5 cm) Snap Hooks
