MoodFabricsRipstops are woven fabrics using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping. During weaving, thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. In this case it forms a regulated square pattern. Incorporating the ripstop construction into heavier fabrics such as this 100% Cotton woven is done so for things requiring extreme durability such as Battle Dress Uniforms, Nomex protective clothing for firefighters and other workwear, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu uniforms, outdoor and sports clothing, backpacks, and luggage bags. Note: This cotton ripstop weights in at 6.5 oz. and comes in a digital camouflage print.
