As I now have to cover my arms due to fragile skin, I have been searching for fabric to make a complementary swing jacket with long sleeves . This fabric matched a blue sleeveless dress I had a already made and I centered the pieces to make the jacket. The blue color on the fabric is blue not the blue-green as pictured. The fabric is lightweight and fantastic to wear in Florida.

I liked the colors but could not make into something I personally could use. I take pride in making garments where the center front matches going from left front to left front when the garment is made up. I could not make the pants I wanted match. I made a top that will go with navy pants that I already have. My roommate while I lived in New York had a very nice philosophy, if the New York designers could mae it happen then so could we.

I was so pleased with this fabric. Most ITY is a bit slippery with a bit of shine, which is fine. But this is matte and almost feels brushed. It is really comfy and easy to work with. I would love to see (and purchase) more of this type of fabric!
