What does double-gassing and mercerization do?
Double-gassing the thread is a manufacturing process that gently removes at least 80% of the lint, resulting in a smooth low-lint thread that has no wax or coatings to clog the machine. The mercerization process not only strengthens the thread, but also gives the thread a smooth lustrous finish.
