Dry cleaning is usually preferable, but some actetates and triacetates can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a delicate cycle, with cool water. Line dry. Always test a swatch first to determine cleaning methods.

Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

Fabric is beautiful, but I’m having a very hard time getting flat seams and hems, fabric does not want to press or steam flat. Also, using distilled water for steaming and pressing, still getting water marks. Fabric was pre-washed before working with it; tumble dried just fine. Maybe a better trained sewer would love this fabric. Pretty sure I will never buy it again.
