HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL FABRICS:
Dry-cleaning is recommended, though some wools can take hand washing. Always test a swatch first if you are going to care for your wool fabrics at home rather than using a drycleaner. Many of the fine wools Mood sells online and in-store have already been "sponged," or preshrunk, but you can preshrink your wool if necessary. Mood recommends taking your uncut wool fabric to the drycleaners and asking them to steam it for you, which will safely preshrink it more effectively than you can using home methods.

These care instructions given are for Wool Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

I like this boucle a lot, will be perfect for my project (light coat), lining not required as it feels very soft. Color is pleasant (not sure about the swan part, just nice dark brown on light brown) and slightly resembles animal print.

I purchased this to make a sweater duster and am very pleased with the fabric! Be prepared for a mess though – it does shed quite a bit during the cutting and serging process.
