Entitled La Grande Tournee, which translates to "The Grand Tour", this fabric refers to a traditional coming of age trip that young European men and women would take, symbolizing their coming of age; this fabric blends French aesthetic with Asian overtones, much like the French men and women who toured Asia in their youth. Our exclusive collection of sateens were made and printed in Spain to ensure precision and detail in its design as well as a soft, smooth hand. Showcasing a flexible drape and a subtle sheen, transform it into flared dresses and full skirts for spring and summer. Made with cotton, it is thin with a medium weight allowing it to be breathable throughout the day. A stretch through the weft provides even more comfort to your tailored pieces. Slightly translucent, a lining may be desired in some applications.
