Dry cleaning is usually preferable, but some rayons or viscoses can be hand-washed or machine-washed on delicate, cool water. Line dry. Test a swatch first.
These care instructions given are for Rayon and Viscose Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

I am kind of surprised this ponte de roma gets such good reviews–it feels and looks like 70's polyester. Was I sent the wrong fabric? I am sewing with this fabric right now, and I have Mood's premium ponte (https://www.moodfabrics.com/premium-burgundy-stretch-ponte-knit-316428) in the same project. The premium ponte is almost the same composition, according to Mood's descriptions, but is an infinitely better fabric. The handle is more pleasant, it is far less sheer than ponte de roma, and it looks smoother and more expensive. It's only a couple of bucks more, though. Get the premium ponte, you won't regret it.

My only disappointment is I wish they had a larger color choice. If it was available, I’d buy it in every color.
