I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I ordered it, but at $8. 50 a panel, I thought it was a real steal. When the fabric arrived I was surprised by the quality. The jacquard weave gives this fabric such a nice hand and drape. The "cheetah" weave is very subtle, and gives the printed side little glints of sheen. Really pretty. The print is very well done – kind of art nouveau on feel, but also kind of asian. As soon as I had the fabric in hand I envisioned a kimono-type jacket. This type of jacket would have nice large areas to show off the print to best advantage. I wanted a beautiful piece that will pack small, but have a big impact on jazzing up my travel wardrobe for an upcoming trip to Spain/Italy. In addition to the lovely print, the non-printed side of this fabric has the lovely jacquard weave visible and is very a nice finish for the inside of the garment.
