I am planning to create Vogue 1783 shirtdress out of this fabric. This poplin has a very soft feel. The soft drape will flow nicely with the full skirt and bell sleeves. I love this print. Navy blue is one of my favorite colors.

I made a 3. 5 yd pattern work with 2 yds by using white for the bodice lining and some on the underside of each sleeve to give it the proper volume. Turned out cute and comfy- just what i had in mind. The fabric sewed up nicely and was easy to gather. Just fyi that holes show where stitches are removed for basting, gathering, etc, but it isn’t an issue for this casual dress 🙂
