With a mix of grays and ivory, the surface of this material contains a large plaid pattern comprised of felted wool and the back side of this hide consists of a soft, crackled, ivory lamb leather with a gray wool design felted through the surface. Lamb skins in general are the softest, thinnest, and most supple of skins. They usually contain a wonderful drape, flow well, and have a great deal of movement. Since this particular hide is bonded to wool, it is slightly thicker than your typical lamb leather and is much fuzzier; therefore one may think of converting it into magnificent coats, jackets, vests meant to be worn over other articles of clothing, as well as fabulous accessories. Keep in mind that this small hide can range anywhere from 3.5 to 6.5 square feet. *Note that these hides might contain slight imperfections.
