The grasslands are ablaze in a riot of color on our Mood Exclusive Muted Black Prairie Spring Viscose and Linen Twill! Orange, white, and purple flowers pop on green grasses and a dusty black ground. This twill combines the silkiness of viscose with the crispness of linen in a cool fabric perfect for spring and summer. With a light, supple drape, use it to craft draped blouses, flowing dresses and skirts, or wide-legged pants for breezy looks. This material is slightly translucent, and while it may benefit from a lining for added structure and occasional opacity, a lining is not strictly necessary.

I was thinking to make a skirt. It was right texture and weight as described.

Beautiful and I was going to use it to make a maxi skirt/pants with it but I am now going to make a button down skirt with a matching blouse.

This fabric is gorgeous and I love what I ended up making with it (a colared button-down shirt). Like others I was planning on making either palazzo pants or a dress from this, but the texture wasn't right. Even though this is a twill weave, it is definitely lightweight and it was really shifty – similar to a silk – under the iron and machine. It's worth the hassle, but just go into it knowing what you're getting.
