Multi-Sized Pattern - Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large

Use this pattern to make compression sacks to compress your gear for minimalist camping, travel, or biking. Make up to four sizes for all your needs. The top cap can be unbuckled for quick access. The square bottom adds stability when packing. And, the top and bottom optional grab straps make for easier cargo moving and removal.
Dimensions:
Small: 12-3/4" x 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" (32.4 x 11.5 x 11.5cm)
Medium: 15-3/4" x 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" (40 x 16.5 x 16.5cm)
Large: 18-1/2" x 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" (47 x 21.6 x 21.6cm)
X-Large: 17-3/4" x 10" x 10" (45 x 25.4 x25.4cm)
Suggested Fabrics:
For Waterproof Bag: Waterproof nylon ripstop, taffeta, or pack cloth.
For Breathable Bag: Uncoated hi-count nylon taffeta or no-see-um netting.
Webbing and Buckles:
Lightweight Bag: 3/4″ (1.9cm) nylon grosgrain ribbon with enough texture to prevent slipping in buckles. Use with lightweight slimline buckles or center release.
Medium-weight Bag: 3/4″ (1.9cm) medium-weight nylon webbing. Use with medium-weight buckles.
Heavy-duty Bag: 1″ (2.5cm) medium-weight nylon webbing. Use with heavy-weight buckles.
Notions:
Thread, one large toggle, two 3/4″ (1.9cm) or 1″ (2.5cm) double bar buckles, two 3/4″ or 1″ side or center release buckles.
Optional: Seam sealer, one grommet (for use with heavier fabrics).
This pattern is available as a Paper pattern or PDF pattern. Choose the option you want at the top. The paper pattern will be mailed to you. The PDF pattern will be sent in an email after checkout. The PDF pattern has files, layered by size, for print at home (12 pages for A4 or 8.5×11″), copy shop (A0 and 36″), and a projector file, as well as instructions.
