Sew comfortable and simple pants with our easy elastic waist pants pattern. It's a perfect beginner-friendly project for creating everyday casual wear. Our sewing pattern for these pants is easy to sew and easy to wear, and features a high-rise waist and front pockets with a pocket flap detail that is fun to embellish (add embroidery or buttons!). Make these in a crisp cotton for work, twill for gardening, or soft flannel for lounging. This pattern is also an ideal first sewing project for beginners.

Suggested fabrics:  Light to medium weight fabrics such as linen, flannel, gabardine, twill, lightweight denim

This pattern is available as a Paper pattern and PDF pattern.  Choose the pattern format you want in the drop down menu.  The PDF pattern has files for copy shop (36” and A0), print at home (A4 and 8.5”x11”), as well as instructions.
