My 13 yr old granddaughter wanted a rib knit black turtleneck with short sleeves. This was the perfect fabric! Soft and not too heavy, very comfortable to wear. I found it a bit tricky to work with the rib knit; would not recommend for a beginner project. Also, since the tubular knit was so narrow, it would not have worked well for a larger size. But for a girl who knew exactly what she wanted, it was just right! Granddaughter and Grandma are both happy.

I only took one star off because the fact that the rib knit wasn’t very strong and had to have elastic inserted to bear the weight of the pants for which it was used as the waistband may have been a misunderstanding on my part of the description. The knit is very soft and comfortable. I wish it had been stronger/tighter, and I made it work. It seemed like a long time (several days) between placing my order and getting a message that it had been sent. I’m not too concerned about it because I know EVERYONE is understaffed right now.

This was purchased for use as a waist band and cuffs. It’s not appropriate for that, but if you are trying to make a T-shirt, it may be fine.
