Featuring a soft, tactile hand, heavyweight, and flexible drape, it’s the ideal winter wardrobe addition.Suggested Projects: Coats, Jackets, Dresses, SkirtsContent: 50% Viscose, 50% WoolStretch: 20% WeftwiseOpacity: Mostly OpaqueNo need to fear the deep end with the dark teal colorway of this coating fabric. Composed of 50% viscose and 50% wool, the combination of the two fibers offers a soft, nubby surface that’s mostly opaque with occasional sheer pockets to give it a touch of visibility. Along with a moderately heavy weight, the flexible drape is perfect for cozy dresses, dramatic coats, elevated hoodies, and so much more. A lining is suggested for more structured garments and added comfort.Note that this fabric is made with a knit base that provides a less-than-25% stretch along the crosswise grain, but it functions as a woven for most purposes.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Hand washing or dry cleaning is recommended. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Iron on the lowest setting. Dry clean with any solvent except tetrachlorethylene.

    I loved sewing into this wool blend! Great for machine stitching or hand stitching!

    I had been looking around for a reasonably priced wool of teal green. I bought this mostly because of the color which was hard to find. It's a little more loosely woven than I was hoping, and a little thicker. But okay for the price. The color is perfect.

    This wool was easy to work with and in a nice vibrant teal. I used this with a vintage swing coat (reproduction pattern) together with vintage glass buttons and hand dyed silk charmeuse lining.
    Fabric was delivered with a hole that appeared to be in the knit fabric prior to it being fulled/felted so glad I was able to work around it.
