    Love this muslin. You can sew with basting stitches and just rip them out by hand, no seam ripper. Great for making adjustments. Also it can withstand multiple re-do seams without falling apart. You can easily crease it without an iron! Great muslin at a great price. There is absolutely no stretch on the grain or cross-grain so that needs to be considered. But that's what I like for a muslin so you can get a perfect fir with your fashion fabric.

    At $2.00 per yard, I can't pass up the opportunity to buy muslin to make toiles from my vintage dress patterns. It's the perfect weight for most blouses, skirts, and dresses. The fabric doesn't require ironing on the selvedges in order to get the most utility out of it, and it's easy to write on for making fitting changes.

    I can generally get two pattern toiles out of each 5-yard pack, and at $10, that's a pretty good bargain for making sure my toile fits before I cut it out of the good stuff.

    I’m glad I decided to construct a muslin before sewing my pencil skirt because it allowed me to make needed adjustments.     The only muslin I found in my area was see through with a loose weave and the fabric was over $7 per yard. I was extremely frustrated and thwarted.     I bought two of these 5 yard bundles of muslin to make a mockup of a full, long skirt because I needed to play around with the drape/silhouette. They are the best value you can find and they get the job sone so they are great for large mock-ups or if you're short on funds. That said, they are pretty thin, and after you wash them (by machine; on delicate, with only cold water and a very mild detergent) they wrinkle like crazy and you have to iron them out on a very high setting. Because they are so thin they stretch and warp a little and you end up with varying widths for the edges which makes measuring and cutting straight lengths difficult. They also become brittle and stiff after washing and ironing and you will feel like you are working with some sort of woven paper. I have had the fabric tear easily before while I was picking out seams.

    I was impressed by the quality and hand of Mood's muslin 5 yard package. I consider it to be an excellent value. The 5 yd. package is plenty for me to fit my pattern with. So happy I discovered Mood Fabrics Online.
