The name of the basil leave comes from the goddess Tulsi who was revered as one of the greatest worshippers of Krishna. The patch of flowers adjacent to the basil leaves holds the Datura plant within it representing the Datura that sprouted from Krishna's chest after drinking poison. Sporting a soft hand and a billowing drape, it would look great turned into a maxi skirt paired with a lining, a resort-inspired shirt dress, or even our Ginkgo Shirt! The semi-sheer composition deems a lining to be necessary in the case of more structure-intensive pieces or those that call for additional modesty.
