I bought this to make and extra-long robe for my husband after having bought a double-gauze robe online and found the XL to be a bit undersized. I doubled up the fabric to make QUADRUPLE gauze, and prevented any raw edges by sewing the pattern pieces together and turning them out before assembling the robe. After a gentle wash and cool dry, the gauze puckered up nicely and now my husband has a robe that is both lightweight and snuggly-warm. This fabric would make a delightful baby blanket, or even a full-size quilt. It would also be perfect for some draw-string pants or a relaxed tunic top, or curtains, throw pillows, kitchen towel, napkins, a scarf…
