This fabric is well-depicted online texture-wise but looks warmer than it actually is. The sample I received is unmistakably dark ASH brown in tone on the darker side rather than dark GOLDEN brown as I see on my monitor, and I have a pretty expensive monitor. The reverse side is gray-beige ("greige"), and both sides are really beautiful. The problem stems from the warm lighting used in photographing fabrics. In my kitchen where I can flip on either a cool light or a warm light, it looks more ash than golden whichever light I choose. If you have cool coloring and like the texture, you will love this fabric! Even if you have warm coloring, you may like it over solid black, which on some people can look harsh. The fabric is very lightweight, has a very soft hand, and the silk gives it a lustrous finish.
