This aniline-dyed top-grain leather is oiled or waxed so that, when pulled, the color migrates to achieve a perfectly distressed appearance. A final protective clear coat adds brilliant luster and additional durability, ensuring anything created with this antique-look leather lasts long enough to become an antique itself. Upholster tufted sofas, bar stools, and wing-back chairs, design durable and stylish handbags and briefcases, or create accessories and accents on outerwear. When creating bags, a lining is recommended to protect the more delicate suede-like back of the leather.Please Note:In addition to natural differences in grain between hides, aniline leathers are subject to mild color variations, giving each lot a unique look. Every effort will be made to fill orders for multiple hides from the same lot. The color fastness to rubbing of this leather is 50 Cycles Dry, ≥ 3 and 20 Cycles Wet, ≥ 3. This leather is compliant with California TB 117-2013.

At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

HOW TO CARE FOR THIS LEATHER:

Spot clean only. Blot excess liquid immediately with a clean cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear lukewarm water to gently wipe the spill. For stubborn spots and stains, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse well. Dry with a clean towel then allow to air dry. If using soap, always test the cleaning method in a hidden area first.

For butter, oil, or grease, wipe off excess with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it alone. Grease spots should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water to clean these spots.

Do not use hair dryers, any saddle soaps, oils, abrasives, cleaners (like glass cleaners or bleach), furniture polish, varnish, or ammonia water. The leather should require no maintenance other than superficial cleaning.
