This Martini Italian Brandy Aniline Dyed Smooth Nubuck Top Grain Cow Leather Hide breathes sophistication, class, and worldly intrigue into your interior designs. The finest American steers and European Ox heifers provide the hides for this reddish-brown leather, tanned in Italy, to create a surprisingly supple and perfectly classic nubuck leather. Nubuck leather is buffed on the grain side to give it a velvety feel and, as this leather is dyed with aniline dyes to give it the most natural look, the buffed finish gives it a nap which causes the colors to change slightly depending on the angle (something to keep in mind while cutting pieces). As it is buttery-soft yet durable enough for use on everyday furniture, upholster couches and wing-back chairs, design accent pieces like ottomans and benches, or even dip into leather fashion pieces with oversized bags, backpacks, accessories, and accents on outerwear.Please Note:In addition to natural differences in grain between hides, aniline leathers are subject to mild color variations, giving each lot a unique look. Every effort will be made to fill orders for multiple hides from the same lot. The color fastness to rubbing of this leather is 50 Cycles Dry, ≥ 3 and 20 Cycles Wet, ≥ 3. HOW TO CARE FOR THIS LEATHER:

Spot clean only. Blot excess liquid immediately with a clean cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear lukewarm water to gently wipe the spill. For stubborn spots and stains, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse well. Dry with a clean towel then allow to air dry. If using soap, always test the cleaning method in a hidden area first.

For butter, oil, or grease, wipe off excess with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it alone. Grease spots should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water to clean these spots.

Do not use hair dryers, any saddle soaps, oils, abrasives, cleaners (like glass cleaners or bleach), furniture polish, varnish, or ammonia water. The leather should require no maintenance other than superficial cleaning.
