This Martini Italian Shale Aniline Dyed Smooth Nubuck Top Grain Cow Leather Hide provides the perfect bedrock to build a sleek interior design. The finest American steers and European Ox heifers provide the hides for this greenish-gray leather, tanned in Italy, to create a surprisingly supple and perfectly classic nubuck leather. Nubuck leather is buffed on the grain side to give it a velvety feel and, as this leather is dyed with aniline dyes to give it the most natural look, the buffed finish gives it a nap which causes the colors to change slightly depending on the angle (something to keep in mind while cutting pieces).
