Mercerized cotton fabrics are far from your basic cotton fabrics, as they are finished with a special chemical treatment that increases luster, dye absorption, and tear strength while reducing fabric shrinkage. This luminous, crisp-handed cotton voile is one for the fashion books and a wardrobe essential! Thin and lightweight, it has a crisp, cool hand and a stiff but flexible drape that allows you to get creative with the silhouette. Turn it into smart and billowy skirts, blouses, dresses, and button-downs. Semi-sheer, a lining is suggested for more opacity or structure.This eco-friendly product is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified; tested independently and worldwide, the certification system evaluates finished, semi-finished, and raw textiles while thoroughly covering chemicals, harmful substances, and precautionary parameters. At Mood Fabrics, we prioritize efficiency and strive to deliver your fabric orders in a timely manner. Most orders are processed within 72 hours, with international orders potentially requiring an additional 1-2 days for processing. Certain items may have additional processing time, particularly those beginning with PV, FS36003-, SUN, AWG, and "Home" products.

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we use various shipping methods. USPS Ground typically delivers orders within 3-7 business days, UPS 2nd Day Air guarantees delivery within 2 business days, and UPS Next Day Air ensures delivery the next business day after shipping.

For customers needing expedited options, we offer UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air shipping, available for an additional cost. To qualify for expedited shipping, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST.

Please note that fabrics and trims are not returnable, while buttons and notions may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original shipping date.

HOW TO CARE FOR COTTON FABRICS:
Machine-wash warm or cold, tumble dry. Pull straight from the dryer to prevent wrinkles, or iron while damp. Prewash cotton fabrics before cutting out your pattern.

These care instructions given are for Cotton Fabrics in general, however, Mood Fabrics does not accept responsibility for fabrics that are incorrectly laundered/damaged by following these instructions. Customers must test a swatch before laundering any fabrics at home to avoid damaging the goods.

    Out of the package this was beautiful. I machine washed a swatch on cold which totally removed the sheen :/ so I hand-washed the rest and was still disappointed with the result. It came out looking like a very ordinary quilting cotton–not unusable, but so much less nice than it was originally. I would say this is one to dry clean, which for me detracts from the appeal of getting cotton.
