A stark black underlayer holds strips of metallic threads beneath a shimmering silver overlayer giving the appearance of an asphalt road on a wintry day. In addition to its visual brilliance, this surface of this fabric alternates between loosely flowing strips of organza and crisply puckered stripes in the same coloration. An intriguingly tactile hand comes paired with a light and billowy drape to create a truly unique medium perfectly suited for bridal gowns, ball gowns, accessories and more. We suggest making an alluring mermaid gown using this material along with a lining to match and an invisible zipper to keep it closed. Very sheer in construction, a lining is strongly suggested for those who desire additional structure or modesty.
