This fabric is beautiful in hue and drape. Exactly as pictured. The grain could not be straightened using every possible technique it continued to be a problem. My hope is that It was a fluke 5 yards and the other 4 colors that I purchased are just as wonderful as I had expected. I continued with my project and cut out my coat. I will be sure to update my end result. My next hope is the it doesn't make a difference and that it's turns out straight as possible.

I fell in love with the color that appears on my iPad, but the swatch I got is definitely more pink/red family than purple. The rest of my samples were true to the picture, so perhaps the picture needs updating.
The fabric itself seems to be of very good quality. I’m ordering yardage in other colors, as well as more samples. Really wish you had a more true purple in the stretch cotton twill as it’s my signature color for the chef coats I designed for myself. Guess people will just have to get used to seeing me in other colors 🙂

This is not puple this is burgundy red! This is not the color iti is described as. It does not match the color shown. I would not have ordered it if I had have know the true color! Do not order this if you want purple! This is burgundy red!!!!

Excellent cotton twill. Silky, yet sturdy and slightly crisp hand. Not bulky at all. Very comfortable to wear and super breathable.
I bought this as a swatch, as I was trying to get an oxblood color. This is not it at all, it is a very dark and blue-ish toned maroon, which is (admittely) very hard to photograph.
I've attached two photos. The first is how it compares with other swatches from this line (and the color isn't right, it's a bit lighter and more blue-ish). The second is as best of a representation of the true color that I can find.

I work as a truck driver and wanted some sturdy and rugged trousers that stand up to wear and tear, and in colors that wouldn't show dirt. Stratton Organic Twill fit the bill! And there are plenty of colors to choose from, too.
